Who Are We?

Howdy! We’re HJ Otis Plumbing, Inc. We specialize in commercial plumbing projects in the greater San Antonio area. Our company was founded in 1986 by Jim Otis.

Jim is a Vietnam-era veteran who graduated from Edison HS and soon after enlisted into the US army in 1972.  He served for three years, spending 18 months abroad in Panama during his time. After leaving the service in 1975, he returned to San Antonio and began working in the plumbing trade. Eleven years later Jim was ready to start his own company and we’ve been providing commercial plumbing services to the greater San Antonio area ever since.

From the beginning, his goal has been to build an exceptional company that is trustworthy and dependable.   • Brandi Otis-Alfieri

    President

    Brandi is the second-generation owner and President of HJ Otis Plumbing. She handles the day-to-day of running our office and book-keeping.

  • Jim Otis

    Vice President

    Our resident Master Plumber, Jim has been in the plumbing business for over 40 years. He never takes no for an answer - if there's a way to do it, Jim will figure it out!

  • Jeremy Kiesel

    Estimator

    Jeremy can typically be found behind one of the computer screens at our office. He handles project estimates, change orders, submittals, and anything else we throw at him.

  • Bonnie Tate

    Administrative Assistant

    Bonnie is our administrative assistant and she keeps our team running smoothly. She is the go-to person for anything and everything around the office.

  • Simon Olmos

    Project Lead

    Simon leads our operation in the field. With decades of experience under his belt, there's nothing he hasn't seen on a job. We can always count on Simon to get the job done right!
